Data controller

Data we collect

• Contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided, message content)
• Engagement files you choose to share (which may include business contact names inside spreadsheets)
• Technical logs needed to operate the site (for example, IP address in server logs)

We do not ask for special-category data through the contact form.

Purposes and lawful bases

• Responding to chart briefs and quotes — legitimate interests in operating our practice, or contract steps when you request a proposal
• Delivering commissioned engagements — performance of a contract
• Optional analytics cookies — consent (see cookies)

Retention

Enquiry messages are kept up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact unless a longer period is needed for a live engagement or legal claim. Engagement working files are retained for up to 36 months after handover unless you ask us to delete sooner and no legal hold applies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability where applicable, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

International transfers

We aim to keep personal data in the United Kingdom. If a tool provider stores data outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations where available.

Sharing

We use processors who host email, file transfer, or website infrastructure under written terms. We do not sell personal data.
